[ It absolutely wouldn't have been a surprise to Hilda that Reno had neglected to mention her to anyone during his time here. They weren't friends - or rather, she didn't think he considered her one which means that she definitely didn't consider him one either. Unfortunately friend was the easiest thing to call him in his absence. 
The white haired man's explanation immediately draws Hilda's glare from him towards the moogle clutching her skirt. Mogwry, unaware that her annoyance has turned on him, seems to have momentarily forgotten his tearful act. In fact, he's giving Thancred a bit of a rude gesture with his paw in return for that cheeky smile. ]

[ Kupo! The rude gesture is gone as quickly as it comes and Mogwry returns to cowering. He was gloating! That's not good sportsmanship, kupo! Her lips then. She should have known. ] 

The white-haired man might have a point. If you're going to be rude about being a sore loser then maybe this game isn't for you? 

[ That doesn't seem to sit well with the moogle at all and sends him on another tirade of protests that fall on deaf ears. ]
