An acquaintance of mine recently gifted me an attractive hand mirror. I confess, I did confide in him that I hath struggled with viewing mine appearance as anything beyond unappealing, and I suspect that the gift pertains to the kind words he shared while we spoke.

However, the note also suggested that I might also use it to view “other landscapes, best explored in the comfort of privacy.”

I am … at a loss, as to what that might mean. If thou hast any advice on the matter thou wouldst share, I would fain hear it.
