We have all been witnessing the rise of Sidwell's power within the castle. His every action has been suspicious since he was promoted and began to move. It could be a trap, but logic dictates this has been momentum for some time now.

[ Thancred started this theorizing that Sidwell was doing what they all can see as his natural plan. Istredd's been suspicious of him for all this time, when Borrel was opened after his rise to a higher position.
