so his destruction of the wards and the force he throws open the door? does not shock her. the intensity that he slams the door behind him doesn’t either. it takes very little effort for yennefer to acknowledge the wards again, to push out and have them set back into place as istredd closes the distance across the room. but no- none of his entrance surprises her, as she very nearly prepares to stand, to reignite the vitriol she’d been spewing at him back in the horizon, when he drops to his knees. ]
