I had a-- a dream. Or a vision, maybe. I saw something huge and tentacled fall out of a rift bigger than any of the ones that I've seen before. Well, no, that's not quite right-- I didn't see what it was exactly. I saw what it was seeing. Through its eyes.
It fell into a lake, near a port city I didn't recognize. But what I did recognize was you. It saw you, it just... watched you. And then I woke up.

[ That's a lot to take in, and Thancred takes a moment to process everything that Vash explains. While it could have been a dream, why would Vash have dreamed about him? And "port city" sounds quite a bit like Nott, but Vash would have never seen it, given that he's all the way in Solvunn. ]

In that case, we may have to assume that even larger, potentially more dangerous creatures are coming through. What you've described sounds almost like a morbol, although they don't generally live in deep water.
I couldn't really see myself-- the creature, I mean. So I can't describe it more than I already have. It was far more interested in looking at you than anything else.
Where were you? I know you're from Thorne, but I didn't see a castle.
And no, never. I've never had a vision like that before... but I think it has something to do with the Singularity.

I have. In the Horizon, anyway. It's a little too complicated to explain just over messages like this, but I can... feel it. I can feel what it's feeling. And what it's feeling right now is fear. It's terrified by whatever came out of that rift.
[ Thancred finds true value in throwing in some levity here and there when others are panicking. It's not that this isn't serious, but the initial danger has at least passed, and now they need to focus on both exchanging information and sorting out what to do next. It will be easier to do that with clear heads. ]
