I think at that point the watch probably didn't matter as there were rifts everywhere. At least he knows that it works.
Yes. We had seven new people, I don't know the numbers from the other factions. But the new people have reported that some of these monsters are from their worlds. They've only been here a short time, that seems too coincidental to me. It isn't their fault, that's not what I'm saying, but I think it's possible the Summoning spell keeps weakening the wall between spheres.
It does seem as if some of the creatures are from worlds belonging to even those of us who have been here for some time.
However, I see your point. Casting this spell every few moons may be putting a strain on the Singularity that has led to it fraying, which would coincide with reports from those who are connected to how it feels.
Yes, they're from all of our worlds, I saw one myself, but for the new people to have them too, it feels like it has to be a recent connection. Thorne has been saying for quite some time that the Singularity is weakening, and yet it hasn't stopped them from continuing this spell.
A bit hypocritical of them, isn't it? I think it might be worth asking them why they haven't ceased the summoning, after all of this has been resolved. Surely they've brought enough of us here by now.
It's a good question. I suppose the answer would be that having the Summoned here is more important because they are here to protect the Singularity. Or really Ambrose is just doing anything to protect his position since Summoning again was no doubt his idea. I don't think we've in any way proved that we are helping the Singularity get more power, if anything experiences since we began have been draining.
In which case, why continue to bring more of us in, if we are having the opposite effect of what those in power in Thorne would want?
Nor do they ask us to complete any specific tasks when it comes to the Singularity, which leads me to believe that there must be some benefit we're providing them simply by existing here.
Exactly, the fact that they continue to ask nothing of us but existing, there is no clear reason we are worth anything to them. It must be something we are not privvy too. Maybe we are making the Singularity stronger by our connection to it. The other thing is they did try to get someone's connection to the Singularity to put on their own people, toward the start. Maybe they're hoping through us they can get closer to it.
Yes, I'm aware of what you're referring to, and yet it seems that they haven't made any attempts as of late. Josselyn and her cultists did, but as far as we know there's no connection there. Either way, I think it's safe to assume others will try to take advantage of us and that connection in the future.
In any case, I'll let you know what I learn about the rifts and what may have triggered them to open.
Yes, imagine that. If you see a creature that looks like an insect, horned head, pinchers, human looking hands on its torso, can you let me know? We're trying to track it down, it's from our sphere.
Sounds lovely. But aye, I'll keep an eye out for it. If you see something with tentacles, a massive mouth filled with teeth, and nasty breath, do the same, will you?
Morbols can be cut down by blade and magic alike. However, their breath is not to be underestimated. Stay near its flank or rear to avoid those noxious fumes. If you inhale any of it, you'll be left incapacitated.

An uptick? You mean that such a large group came in this time?

I'll be fine, rest assured. This is hardly my first monster fight.

[ And it means the witcher couldn't kill it just by hacking away at it normally, a more violent approach was necessary. ]
Any suggestion for that one?

That being said, stay sharp. I'll be in touch regarding Jolene's assessment of the sitation.
