[ Thancred has little reason to hide what he's capable of from his fellow Summoned, as far as he's concerned. He doesn't think there's anyone among them he's angered enough that they'd start spilling his secrets to people of note.

Certainly in Thorne, they're all in agreement that it's often them taking care to never reveal too much to their keepers.

He's become far more relaxed about it than he was when he first arrived here, that's for certain. ]

I was trained to, if you would believe that. As a child I would have never imagined you could receive a formal education in being a rogue, and yet that's precisely where I ended up.

Such was the case for me as well, until I happened to pickpocket the wrong person. Or right person, as it turns out.

Understandable. I don't exactly make a point of spreading around those details either, though in this case my ability to acquire a lockpick ended up being necessary information for the investigation.
Nor am I in any way ashamed of it.

It's difficult to know. "Power" is the obvious answer, but I saw that fossil in the vault, and surely there are safer ways to acquire power.

In which case, perhaps it was desperation. They're in need of quick coin and hoped to sell it.
